- More trees have recently been planted in our streets. Many thanks to Ann Winter of Grace's Road for her time and effort spent in ensuring that these trees were provided for the community by Southwark Council. If you have a tree near your home, it would be appreciated if you could water it in dry weather. Please use the pipe provided at the base of the trunk. This will encourage healthy growth.
- We have a new Noticeboard, in front of the block of flats on Grace's Road. This was the result of a request to Nick McLoughlin our Housing Manager at the Pelican Neighbourhood Housing Office.
- Help us to help you by telling us what you want. Get involved, this is your Association. What do you feel would improve our area ? If you have any ideas or suggestions for a future event that you feel will benefit the local community please contact the Secretary Mandy Henry at 24a Wilson Road.
- The Council have provided each household with a Blue Bag in which to recycle newspaper and a divider for your Blue Box which is now to be used for tins in one side and glass in the other. For more information about recycling read the hints and tips we distributed at the end of February.
