Our goal is to share with you financial information and other topics as it relates to the operation of your parish community. In return, we welcome your feedback on what is happening and suggestions that can make our parish operate more efficiently in meeting the needs of our parishioners, our parish community and our extended community.
We thank you for all your contributions of treasure, time and talents; they are very much appreciated and needed. As you can see from the financial data below, your collection contributions are above budget. This allows us the opportunity to meet more of the needs of our parish community including our building improvements.
As we approach the summer season - holidays, travelling and cottage time - your contributions of treasure, time and talent become even more valuable and needed. Please continue to contribute and to volunteer whenever you can - we need you this summer.

Finance Council (Buildings and Grounds Committee) has approved some major work to be completed this summer. We will be applying a special coating to the front steps and ramp of the church to cover all of the weather and other damage. This will make it safer to walk on, improve the appearance and extend the life of the existing structures. We will be repairing a cracked beam in the basement. We do have reserve funds available to cover the costs of these capital projects. However, if any parishioners wish to make an extra contribution to the cost of these projects, please mark your contribution as such so we can allocate it for this purpose.
Finance Council extends a special thank you to Joe Croteau (moved to Saskatoon) for his contribution of time, knowledge and contacts in the area of building repair and heating systems. We are in need of new members who can assist us with these skills and knowledge.
The Finance Council wishes to extend to each of our parishioners, families and many visitors a safe, enjoyable and relaxing summer. Remember the sharing your gifts of time, talents and treasures are needed and appreciated by your parish community of Holy Cross. We thank you for sharing and for volunteering.
