Our candle sales for Campaign Life Coalition's March for Life in May went very well!  We raised over $160.00 for C.L.C. and had our own beautiful candle-light Mass.

We did have some response both to our outreach to other parishes in Regina regarding Pro-Life Committees, and to our mail-out to some people in our parish regarding committee participation.  We have met with certain individuals to discuss these issues.

We had a display in the Gerein Centre and roses on the altar to celebrate Pro-Life Week at the end of May.

Lori Kukura and I attended the Regina Pro-Life 30th Annual Fundraising Banquet on May 2.

We were approved to receive $100 from the Legacy Fund to purchase items for our lending library,

but haven't made our decision on what to buy yet.

We finished off the year with a short presentation and hand-out to our CWL ladies in June.

And lastly, I would like to tell you a little about the Pregnancy Counseling Centre which is a non-profit, local, Christian ministry.  They have been supporting women, teens and families in unplanned pregnancy situations here in Regina since 1990.  They offer counseling, practical support and information.  Their services also include post abortion counseling, and abstinence programs.  Their services are free and confidential.  There is always a need for volunteers,
funding and prayer.
