Winside High has fielded a football team every year
since 1920. It has since, grew and evolved into a team not to be taken
lightly thoughout the 1990's and is sure to continue though the future
of the program. Although the team has danced between 8-man and 11-man though
recent years, it has no trouble adapting and claiming victory. The red
and white Wildcats are recognized wherever they travel in Northeast Nebraska.
