Welcome

Hi, horse friends! Welcome to Wild Irish Rose Farm's newest homepage. Please forgive our appearance during this time, as we are currently under construction. Please remember to check back often to see our latest updates.

Many of you have commented on my lack of progress with my website, for this I apologize wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, the year 2000 has not been kind to me. Among others things, I received some lasting memories from an outside mare wearing hind shoes. She kicked me just above my knees and wouldn't you know it, it just had to happen as the 2000 breeding season was getting under way.

Then I proceeded to break my left wrist, well...it was sort of horsey related. I fell off a hay wagon (and my horses had better appreciate me, as it happened while getting hay for them!!!) A few weeks later I ended up with complications that required surgery. I am expecting to be on the road to rehabilitation real soon, although I've been told the going with be slow. I can hardly wait until I have the use of both hands!!

The worse of all has been the passing of two of my animal friends (see Welcome II for updates)! Our family dog, Tasha, who was euthanized in mid-June due to kidney failure brought on by old age (was also diagnosed with cancer). The hardest of all, was losing my Paint/Pinto stallion, Jewel. Jewel was euthanized the end of August due to complications resulting from a bout with colic.  Tasha and Jewel are greatly missed!! I thank them for allowing me to be a part of their lives and having them as a special friend.

Thank you very much for stopping by to see us! Your patronage is greatly appreciated!
