Northeast Falconry Centre
June 17, 2000
As we drove south from Huntly, we made a serendipitous find, the Northeast Falconry Centre. As we were driving down the road, we saw the Centre's sign and decided to pull in. We arrived just as a flying demonstration was beginning. We got to see a falcon hunt (well, he hunted some raw chicken) and hold an owl and to our amazement, a bald eagle. You don't expect to travel thousands of miles to another country and then see your national symbol on your arm.
