Excel spreadsheet to calculate the impedance of milled circuit board traces.  (Also known as "coplanar waveguides with ground").  This is needed for high-speed board development using "circuit board milling machines" such as those made by IBC, T-Tech, LPKF, and others.
cfpod.doc Design and Construction of a High-Speed BDM Pod for ColdFire CPUs.   This document contains information on how to modify P&E BDM pods for higher-speed operation.  It also contains a reference design of a pod that is software compatible with the P&E version, but is built from the ground up for high-speed operation.

bdmcf.txt PALASM source code for P&E BDM Pod  (For GAL16LV8C)

NOTE: you must rename this file to "bdmcf.pdf" before compiling.  The file has to be listed here as a ".txt" file, because using a ".pdf" extension sometimes causes web browsers to think this is a "postscript" or Adobe Acrobat file, which will corrupt the download.  So, download as a ".txt" file, then rename before compiling.

pems.txt JEDEC programming file for P&E BDM Pod (For GAL 16LV8C)

NOTE:   you must have a "pems.jed" file to program a GAL directly.   Unfortunately, ".jed" files have non-printable characters in them, that will not allow them to be downloaded through most web browsers.  This file here is the "printable text" of the programming file.  If you need the download image, please e-mail us, and we will send you the file directly.  (It seems to go through e-mail just fine.)  Ask for file name "P_E_MS.JED".
