A true high content wolfdog
should look like a wolf, there should be little, if any, dog like
characteristics identifiable in its appearance.
Wolfdog ownership requires a great
of responsiblity,
time,
patience, energy, love and devotion.
We love the companionship with our wolfdogs. They are loyal, loving and
very intelligent companions.
Wolfdogs often become very attached to their owners, which makes
adjusting to a new home extremely difficult for them.
Wolfdogs are
very active animals that require a great deal of exercise.
People who are interested in owning a
wolfdog should spend plenty
of time doing their homework, in reseaching wolfdogs. They should talk,
talk and talk to people who are knowledgeable on wolves and
wolfdogs. They should spend time interacing with wolfdogs,
to make sure that a wolfdog is what you really want.
We
have a mixture of Canis occidentalis, Canis nubilus, and Canis
lycaon wolf in our wolfdogs. As for the dog part we have German
Shepherd, (American and Imported from Germany) and Alaskan Malamute.
We
breed for temperament.
