Although my parents may not be the most affluent parents in this world, they certainly are the most loving, caring and understanding parents for sure. They have always been my biggest fan, fully supportive of whatever decision that I make. They also are my two best friends whom I can share both sadness and happiness with. What's more, they have always been the biggest inspiration in my life, always motivating me to try harder and aim higher. Love you mom and dad! |
| My sister, Won Mi Kim, is another best friend of mine. Three years older than I am, we have always been sharing thoughts and opinions about almost every topic you can think of. Contrary to what many would expect, we are almost like opposites when it comes to our personalities. She's more organized, talkative, easy-going and feminine than I am. If there is one thing that we share, it would be that we both are real hard workers. As an interior design major, she makes sure that all her works reach her "perfectionist" standard no matter what. My name is Won Kyung Kim from the Division of International Studies. Asian cuisine, hip-hop and R&B, musicals, romantic comedy movies, Latin dance, sports, fashion magazines (well, sometimes more intellectual journals such as the Economist) and light-hearted as well as enlightening books are some of the things that I like most. I was born in Seoul, Korea, the youngest child in a family of four members. I had a chance to live in the Philippines for about seven years until my sophomore year in high school. Aside from studying hard, my goal in college is to engage in different experiences, meet different people and ultimately to discover more about my strengths, weaknesses and talents. I hope that taking on new challenges, this time creating a website of my own, will help me achieve that goal. |
