I'd like to thank Donna Ellis and her dog "Sooty" of Wenonah for E-mailing me about this trail.  Until then I had no idea it even existed!  You learn something new everyday! So thanks Donna!  It's now one of my favorites!

Let me warn you before entering this trail, it is not like the other ones.  The terrain contains very steep hills, unearthed roots, and muddy patches.  Which makes it so fun!  Seriously, it is a quite a workout so be careful.  Break Back Run can be tricky to find depending on which entrance you take.  The first entrance is located at North Hayes Ave. where the baseball field is. Just follow down the road, past the field and look to the right.  Near the bottom of the road you will see a wooden post telling you where the trail begins.  The second entrance is across from the Wenonah Lake on Maple Ave.  It's behind the Wenonah sign.

Break Back Run obviously gets its name from it's many hills and valleys.  It also contains quite a few streams which calls for alot of bridges.

The Trail is pretty long, if you enter from North Hayes Ave. it will take you all the way to the Wenonah Lake.
