The heart of the Wenonah Woods are it's beautiful hiking trails.  Nestled throughout the woods, each man-made trail is unique from one another.  Some you can bike through, others have to be walked. The trails have been designed so that, if planned right, you can walk through each one in one trip. If you ever need to get away for an hour or two, these trails are the places to go!  Read the warning below, then click on a picture.

A FEW TIPS BEFORE YOU GO EXPLORING...

1. Wear insect repellant.  Some parts of the Wenonah Woods have mosquitoes and biting flies that can become a real nuisance.

2.  After Hiking, check yourself and your children for ticks, especially your pets.  They're more likely to wander into the plants where ticks reside.

3. Wear some old shoes or boots.  Although most of the muddy areas of the trails have been covered with mulch, some patches still remain.  Especially after rain.

4.  Please don't litter! The Wenonah Woods have lately become a popular drinking spot for teenagers. Although it is highly illegal, if you're going to drink, clean up!

5. Be careful of poison ivy and other such plants. If you don't know what these plants look like, do some research!

6.  If possible, carry a small bag to pick up trash, bottles, etc.  If we all help out, the woods will stay beautiful!

7.   Most importantly, relax and enjoy yourself!
