The Wenonah Railroad runs right through the center of Wenonah and ends at the trestle, a reinforced bridge for trains. The trestle always reminded me of the one featured in the movie "Stand By Me" because they look alike. At the bottom of the trestle is a stream which flows over large rocks. The Glen Trail winds under the trestle. My father, sister and I use to visit the trestle frequently with our dogs when I was younger. Crossing it was always a thrill for me. |
