Economic DevelopmentMissouri's economy continues to expand into the next century. The state's GSP (Gross State Product) grew at a rate of approximately 3% per year over the last decade. Unemployment remains at record low levels, personal income and total state production are on the rise.

The export market in the St. Louis region is growing as well.
