Street Cleaning Program
Woodson Terrace is trying out a new street-cleaning program. If implemented, all streets will be professionally cleaned about four times per year. The Scrubby Dutchman Co. will be providing street-cleaning services to include all city parking lots. We will have cleaner streets on a regular basis with this new program.
New City Clerk Appointed
Margaret Wilson (Marge) was recently appointed City Clerk. She has been employed by the city since 1985 in various positions including Deputy City Clerk, Deputy Court Clerk and Court Clerk. Marge is an asset to this city and we are pleased to have her as our new City Clerk!
Recycling Program Continues
The playground equipment recently installed at John L. Brown Park is made of 100% recycled materials. The equipment is part of a recycling project implemented by the city in conjunction with the St. Louis-Jefferson Solid Waste Management District. Please use our collectors, as future improvements will depend upon the success of this program. Keep in mind that recycling saves room in our landfills and could possibly reduce increases in future trash collection bills.
The city has set up paper collection bins at three locations:
- Behind the police station
Guthrie Ave. and Woodson Rd.
- Behind St. William's School
Lower parking lot
- Andy's Wheelcovers and Wheels
