Welcome to the Tutorial page, here you will find information on how to the files avaliable from this site and to build them into one's own chip.

Cadence Basics will help one become familiar with Cadence and CAD tools. Explained is how to set up and start Cadence, dealing with libraries and Cadence file system.

IC design will cover schematic and symbol views within Cadence, as well as how to simulate your circuit. This is where one would learn how create or edit the standard cells

IC layout will show you how to layout your standard cells to make them usable. Also covered is how to check the DRC (design rule crieterion), and verification of the logic.

LSI/VLSI/GSI will deal with VHDL and Verilog and how to use these tools to design your chip. Also covered will be how to use Cell Ensemble within Cadence to assemble the chip from the standard cells

Finally File Import/Export will deal with importating libraries, VHDL and other files into Cadence.
