Harry's

He
looked at her lying there, entranced by her sensuous
curves, her golden glow. But it was her voice that really
moved him -- sometimes soft and sexy, sometimes wild
with abandon. Whatever his mood, she matched it.
He
lifted her lovingly to his lips. Tonight they would
make beautiful music together, Harry and his trumpet.

15
Days More ... |
?
|
Remember
me mentioning about what a fortune-teller said about
my job searching adventure. Well, actually what she
said had been very accurate till now. The latest update
would be she said that 15 days after my dad's visit
(which will be around next week or so), I would have
another opportunity. So, let's see.
Anyway,
she also added that I won't like the job that I'd get.
The one that I'd like will only appear on next Feb.

2046 |

I
watched 2046 last weekend and I like it. 2046 is a room
number, a novel, the future, ... It also represents
some memories, particularly the 'lost' ones ...

This
is a really fantastic anime to watch. It just started
airing a few weeks ago at Japan (the current latest
episode is No. 3). If you've nothing to do, you can
consider downloading it. I'm actually considering buying
the manga to read. hehe... I think I'm getting more
and more like a manga freak. Lately have been watching
and reading Naruto, Hunter X Hunter, Death Note and
etc, after Hikaru No Go. Hopefully these manga and anime
can help me improve my Japanese yo.

POPcorn |
I
went to the toilet 4 out of 5 times after a movie session
eating popcorn, which is amazing. So constipation is
never a problem. My dear friend is having the same problem
as me. And for once, he thought he's suffering from
some disease. Chill out...
Now
when I see or think popcorn, I'm a bit scared. But,
I wonder what's wrong with us. Can you tell us why?

End
of the World |
 |
Out
of boredom, I read about this topic recently on the Internet.
There were actually so many different prediction made on the
end of the world. Most predict that it will come before 2010.
Two closer predictions made are 17 Oct 2004 and late 2004.
Let's see what will happen.
Anyway,
I hope I'm living in the time of the end. If so, I feel honoured
to witness that and also I can die together with my family
and friends. Come to think of it, is that considered bad?
Anyway, that's what we deserve.
Here's
a flash animation regarding this topic that's quite funny. |

Weather
Signs |
They
say that...
A
red sunset bodes good weather.
If
the sun is enveloped by deep clouds but trying to shine
forth means that a heavy rainfall will follow.
If
the stars shine brightly, the sky will be clear and
the weather will be fine on the next day.
A
shooting star, not only means that you can make a wish,
but also means plenty of harsh weather. Is it also because
a soul was on its flight to heaven?
|

|
Nah!
I'm not weather forecast expert. Just wondering, how does
your sky look like today? I can't make out mine. It's
very dark, and seemingly cloudy. The stars are hidden
and neither can I see the moon. The wind is frail and
chilly. The feeling is uncertain. Will it rain? Unpredictable. |

Paradox |

|
I
pay for my school fees, but I always hope every class
will end early.
Sometimes,
I want something so much, yet I tell them I don't want.
I
don't want to do that job, but still I go ahead and
send in my application.
I
know they won't reply me, yet I still write to them.
People
get married and then claimed that it's love's 'cemetery'.
Some
people (e.g. Jerry Yan, 5566, that guy who acted in
Dou Yu and etc) sing badly, yet others (esp. the djs)
still have to say something positive about their singing.
And
do you know that standing is actually more tiring than
walking?
Are
we all acting like fools? Or are we actually fools ourselves?

An
Apology to Hyang Mi Kim |
I
apologise for referring the sensational Hyang Mi Kim
of Peoples Republic of Korea as a bitch previously.
I think she's really inspirational for her return to
Li Jia Wei during the women's singles table tennis semifinal
match after losing 3 rounds. Look! She's so sweet in
the picture.
|

|
I
wish I could get the digital format of her beautiful voice
esp when she won every single point, so that I can play
it repeatedly on my website. It will be a HIT. Here's
an interesting article
from Today newspaper. |

Bourne
Supremacy |

|
If
you haven't watch the first part (Bourne Identity),
and you're worried that you might not understand what
is going on in the theatre most of the time, don't worry.
Neither did i watch the Bourne Identity. Well,
i felt quite lost for the first few seconds, but after
that, it's alright.
|
|
The
movie kept me in suspense for some parts. Though the plot
wasn't as unpredictable as the actions, it was still rather
mysterious in the beginning. Emotions crept in at the beginning
and the end of the story.
If
you don't know what to watch this weekend (or this month),
watch this. To me, it's a quite cleverly planned and well
executed, "4-stars" action-drama. Watch it and tell me how
do you feel about it.
|
|
|
Those who can, teach. |

|
That's
what they say on their website, on their posters, in
their advertisements and etc. Someone by the name of
George Benard Shaw once said, "He who can, does. He
who cannot, teaches.". So what do you think?
I
might become a teacher if I still can't find a job by
the end of this month. Anyway, to teach was once my
dream. Inspired by my Chinese teacher during my 'O'
Levels, she's also the one who warned me not to become
a teacher when I graduate. Was she trying to eliminate
a competitor, or was she just telling me the truth?
|
|
If
I become a teacher, I can only be a primary school teacher
with my degree. I'll definitely treat my students WELL. Teach
them how to yell like that North Korean bitch so that the
country can soon win their first-ever Olympic gold medal.
Encourage them to play soccer full-time to get the country
qualified for the next World Cup. Inspire them to find a mate
and give birth to many early to increase the country's population.
Nah,
teaching was my dream. When I choose to do something, I'll
give my best. Anyway, I love seeing people (esp. young people)
being tortured. I'll make sure my students get straight A
stars for their PSLE since this country is so result-oriented.
If they don't get A stars, I'll make them see stars.

Finally! |

|
Finally,
there's a response from the applications I had sent
out. I'm overjoyed. A company replied me, and asked
me for more details.
Today
must be my luckiest day of the month. I haven't feel
so happy for a very long time. After I received the
reply, I managed to call in to 933 [by only calling
once] and won myself a ticket to a play that I wanted
to watch.
And
also I managed to finally found 2 idiotic virus files
that I had been searching for months! PLUS PLUS PLUS!
I finally managed to upload my updated pages to geocities
successfully!
Even
if the company decided not to hire me in the end, I'm
still happy because at least there shows some signs
of people reading my cover letter and resume. Say if
so luckily that company wants me, I will give my whole
body for it. I'm so thankful and touched now that I
feel like crying. haha... Stupid! I'm flying over the
moon soon. Yahoo! Wish me luck people!

Watched
2 films recently. The Village, and The Notebook.
The Village isn't as thrilling as expected. Unexpectedly,
it turned out to be more dramatic and funny.
The Notebook isn't as bad as what I read from many reviews.
If I'm a critic, I'll give it 3 stars for the moving
story; very sad. Feel like buying the novel to read
after watching.
Besides watching movies, I also spent my time on studying
my Japanese. At the same time, I'm also looking for
job pathetically. Till now, I've sent out over 20 applications
and received no reply. 20 is no many la.
|
|
I'm
trying very hard actually. I applied for any job that I could
do, even those that don't relate to my field. I even applied
for jobs that requires only A Level qualification. There are
many positions that I wanted to apply for but the companies
want Singaporeans or PRs only. I took out a notebook and note
down these companies' names so that in future, even if I become
a PR, I won't want to work in these companies. Some wanted
female only. Otherwise, I don't have the experience.
2 fortune tellers told me that I'd find my job within 1 month.
Let's see if it's true. Probably after 1 month, I'll go to
NIE, then they will be true.
Oh! I also visited Batam last weekend with my friends, and
I returned with nothing due to my friend's selfishness.
After
watching the movies and all sorts of nonsense, ratings for
my mood this whole month is half a star. I need cheer up.
At least I'm still fortunate. haha... |

What's
the use of living till so old?
I've 2 grandmothers who are still living. One of them has
problem moving. Yet she always forgot and tried to walk by
herself. So she walk and she fell. She fell and she walk.
Until one day, she finally fell until her bones cracked and
now she feels too pain to even move. Unable to control her
'digestive system', she pee/shit in her pants frequently,
yet don't know it.
Another
grandmother had very poor short-term memory at first. Then,
after a few years, she couldn't recognise anyone, even her
daughter. A couple more years later, she lost her ability
to speak. Then she couldn't eat. Now, she can't even swallow
her saliva.
Longetivity is a curse to me. I long to die young. Shame on
me!

After
watching many episodes of Naruto, courtesy of spetsnaz the-forever-dao-kia
aka 040, I want to be like Naruto. |
I
started my job search. Not that I've just started, just that
now I'm eager; looking for jobs more frequently. So I've to
motivate myself, even if there's no one behind me. YEAH! I
CAN DO IT! NO! I HAVE TO DO IT!!!
Let's
work hard together!!!

Diary
of a hopeless small-fry |
Dear
Diary,
1/2 of
the year has gone, another 1/2 to go. For people who are still studying,
work hard. For people who are working, work harder. For people,
like me, who just graduated, best of luck.
My graduation
ceremony will be held on next Friday and I'm already feeling anxious.
I don't really know how to wear the gown yet. I feel it's a bit
too long for me. My whole family except my grandma will be attending.
And most importantly, I don't want to see You-Know-Who there. How
I wish time can stop when I was still enjoying my days in Japan.
Anyway, I just hope that that day will just passed away with haste.

I'm really
like living in my own outer space now. I don't know what I want
to work as and I haven't even go for a single job interview. I also
haven't sign up for the courses that I want to join. I'M LOST~ HELP~~~
I'm just a tiny, puny speck of thing, sticking on an insignificant
bit of earth, begging for some oxygen to breathe in. I'm not even
fighting... How to survive like this? I need more motivation.
Hei Bee.
To Andy:
Regarding your question posted on your site, I'd choose to be the
2nd type if given only these 2 choices. But usually, I'll just wait.
If it will come, it will come. If not, so what. I still have to
live on. Amitabha.
