DRAFTING RULES

There will be four members in a team. Team captains will be ranked by their average. The number of team captains will depend upon the number of teams formed. Each team captain will select on player at a time from the pool (list of players) . Selection of players from the pool will made by the bottom team captain to the top team captain. The next two rounds is also from bottom to top.

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE LEAGUE 
(As sanctioned by ABC)

FEES 

The league will be a guaranteed league and the amount to be paid by each bowler each night is $8.00 of which $7.65 will cover the cost of bowling, with the balance to be placed in the league fund for the prizes. Guaranteed league means the bowler still needs to pay the amount even if he/she is absent unless he/she gets a substitute. The captain of each team will collect team members moneys and give the money envelope to the treasure by the END OF THE 5TH FRAME OF THE FIRST GAME. A bowler is not allowed to be more than one week behind in their fees.The second week, or when the bowler returns to bowling, all fees must be paid in full. Bowlersare required to pay the last two weeks bowling fees by the 6th week of bowling. If a bowler leaves the league before the end of the league this money is not refundable unless an immediate replacement is found. This money may not be used to cover delinquent bowling fees. 

POINTS 

The league will use a 4 point system. i.e... one per game and one for total pins. 

SUBSTITUTES 

The secretary must be notified of all subs. All subs must be sanctioned before bowling ortheir scores will not count. Subs will establish their average the first night they bowl. If a sub bowls less than three games the first night they bowl their scores will not count and the team will use the absent bowlers score. Subs do not have to be the same gender as the absent bowler. 

TARDY BOWLERS 

A bowler who arrives late may enter the game if he or she arrives before the completion of the 4th frame. Frames missed may be made up. A frame is considered completed when the bowler in the anchor position of each team has completed the frame. 

SCORING 

Scoring is to begin promptly when the league is put in league play. 

ABSENTEE/VACANCY SCORES 

The absentee score will be 100% of the absentee bowlers running average. If a vacancy exists on a team a vacancy score of 120 will be used to calculate handicap and 120 score across the board. 

AVERAGE & HANDICAP 

All averages will be computed the first night of bowling at the end of the third game. All games bowled the first night will count toward wins and losses. Handicap will be figured at 80% of the difference between the two teams with NO PIN LIMIT. 

LEAGUE SCHEDULE 

The league will consist of 26 weeks of bowling starting on Sept 25, 1998. It will be every Friday, 9:15PM. No bowling on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, etc.) 

PRIZES 

Aside from the awards to be given by the league, ABC & Facenda will give special awards. Two-thirds of ALL SCHEDULED LEAGUE GAMES MUST BE BOWLED TO QUALIFY FOR LEAGUE AND TROPHY AWARDS.

1. TOP 5 TEAMS ( Individual trophies )
2. HIGH SERIES - male and female
3. HIGH GAME - male and female
4. MOST IMPROVED - male and female
5. ROOKIE OF THE YEAR - male and female
6. TOP 10 HIGH AVERAGE - male and female
7. ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS :
a. HIGHEST NO OF 6 BAGGERS OR MORE - male and female
b. HIGHEST NO.OF 5 BAGGERS - male and female
c. HIGHEST NO.OF 4 BAGGERS - male and female
d. HIGHEST NO.OF TURKEYS ( 3 strikes in a row ) - male and female

NON-TROPHY AWARDS: 

1. HIGH TEAM HANDICAP SERIES
2. HIGH TEAM HANDICAP GAME
3. Other Special Awards / Kalokohan awards (to be announced later)

CANCELLATION OF BOWLING 

Only the lanes or the Executive Board can cancel bowling. If in doubt about cancellation please check with the lanes at 610-272-8547. 

SMOKING: THERE WILL BE NO SMOKING IN THE BOWLING AREA. ALL SMOKING WILL BE DONE ON THE CONCOURSE.
***IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LANE POLICY THERE WILL BE NO CHILDREN IN THE BOWLING AREA.
***THERE WILL ALSO BE NO HITTING, BANGING, KICKING OR PUNCHING OF ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT IN THE BOWLING CENTER. ONE WARNING WILL BE ISSUED, THE SECOND TIME YOU ARE NO LONGER PERMITTED IN THE BOWLING CENTER.
