M&S return to Washington where the higher-ups are not happy about M&S's excursion to Oregon. Skinner comes to the office, bringing Krycek and Marita to unite forces to get proof of this UFO. The LGM's high-tech expertise is also called in to help and Scully's ducks outside into the hallway. There Mulder tells her that the bounty hunter is rounding up abductees and he doesn't want her to go back in case she might be taken. So she stays, but she says he won't be going alone. So Skinner makes the trek to Oregon, and as they're looking for evidence, Mulder enters the UFO force field.
