We have to act now. This Ontario Government may be trying to push this Bill 198 through in the next 3 or 4 weeks before the Holiday break. Your letters of concern need to be sent . Your friends can also do the same. Especially if they are working for a company with a pension plan. They may be in a future mass layoff, or be involved in a similiar partial pension plan windup situation that we former Bell Sygma employees, or National Trust employees are experiencing.
Write to Ernie Eves and your Ontario MP if you want to enfleunce the passing of Bill 198 that will take away your rights to the Pension Fund Surplus. Here is a draft letter that members can send to Ernie Eves.
