Cancelled Egyptian and Warrior series...
As rumour had it, there were two NEW assortments planned for release in July 2001. Apparently there would have been an Egyptian series and a new Warrior series. Toy Biz kept denying any and all rumours of these figures despite their anticipated release by a lot of comic and toy shops. Then Toy Biz went ahead and sold their Xena license :( So who's gonna make us new stuff now?!?!?!?
Is there really a cleavage variant of Xena 10" deluxe??
"There is no variant... the history of this figure is that it was originally produced for two retailers as an exclusive: Montgomery Wards (in the familiar purple box) and J.C. Penny (in a two pack with a 10" Hercules in a generic white box) well, after only being on the market for a short while, some parent groups complained of the large bossom the figure had.....for this reason they were pulled from shelves....I can remember for a short time this figure was going for $150 here in the states!! well, apparently ToyBiz got approval to release these through some clearance stores (KayBee, Toy Liquidators, etc.) and they soon flooded the market." (Thanks Greg for that)
The Xena-Argo 2 pack..

What I would have done for one of these!! They never ended up being distributed, however I wouldn't be surprised if there are one or two packs of these out there.
Have any more info on the xena-argo two pack? I would love to hear from you.
Cancelled 12 inch Warrior Women assortment 48480:
From the Toy Biz catalogue: "Xena and Gabrielle hide themselves from the forces of evil with their peasant clothing disguses. Camouflaged from danger they are prepared to protect the downtrodden and unfortunate with their legendary courage!"
Xena comes with two costumes. First she is wearing her most famous and fabulously fashionable warrior princess costume, because without it she'd be, well, naked! ;) And to bring out the party girl in Xena she's been supplied with a standard issue harem peasant disguise complete with fluorescent safety orange granny panties that double as a parachute for a quick get-a-away! With those undies, I'd want to be disguised too!
Gabrielle also comes with two fabulous costumes. First up we see Gabrielle looking radiant in her Amazon Queen apparel and fashionable knee-high boots (made of vinyl for all you animal rights peasants) with a second costume comprised of a brown crop top and skirt and a ridiculously oversized "support the dalmations" ribbon, all of which she would be able to easily subsitute for all her peasant disguise needs if she were actually real and could undress and redress herself ;) Of course, no warrior duo is complete without matching fluorescent safety orange granny panties! Hair is by Bottle Blonde #69.
Cancelled Asst No.41055: 5" Hercules Legendary Warriors twin packs
"It takes two legendary warrior to stop some of the ghastly creatures that only the gods could conjure. It's twice the mythical madness when these great warriors fight against the evil forces of darkness."
As you can see from the pictures, this assortment included a Xena & Gabby ... a Hercules & Xena ... and a Hercules & Iolaus. This makes me sooo sad, since I really think Xena and Gab deserved a box together. Apparently they were all ready to be shipped out and then they decided that it would be a bad business venture and they wouldn't sell..!! tell that to us fans!! The hercules and Xena card set on the left was a "special edition" set. It would have been the only action figure set to have both the Xena and Hercules Logo on the card!
Xena 5" Temptress
This figure comes directly out of the Toy Biz Catalog. It was shown to be a Hercules release figure. It could have been based on the Hercules episode where Xena seduces Iolaus into battle between Hercules and himself. Anyway, they never ended up releasing the figure, instead opting for the Xena I "warrior princess weaponry" and Xena II "warrior disguise".

* Joxer? A Joxer figure was actually suposed to come out! ok, well, not come out, come out, but released come out, but not released from jail come out, distributed to toy stores for general sale to the public come out. Gosh, make me type it the long way why don't you ;)
* Fallen Angel? A 12" Fallen Angel series was suposed to come out but they didn't end up making them. I know this for a fact since I have the Fallen Angel boxes un-cut, displayed in my private collection. Apparently they were all Angels (as opposed to demons) and they had wings that could flap!
