I went to the bookstore yesterday to have a lineart of mine photocopied. The bookstore's policy was that you can claim your photocopies only after you pay for them. I didn't claim mine right away because I had to buy a book and I wanted to pay for the book and the photocopies all at once.

Anyway, when I returned to claim my photocopies, the guy who did them told me that some girls would like to photocopy my drawing. I agreed but I signed my drawing first (just to make sure they don't claim it as their own). It's a nice compliment though when people whom you don't even know want to have a copy of your work. =)

It was raining heavily earlier this evening but I went out nevertheless to watch a movie with my friend. We watched So Close. Strange, the movie was released I think a year ago but it wasn't till recently that it came out in local theaters. By now, it's in DVD's and VCD's already.

The movie's nice and Shu Qi's pretty. Why did Lynn, Shu Qi's character, have to die??!!! The action scenes made me "get over" it though but I really wished to see a "they LIVED happily-ever-after" ending. Hmm. . . does that happen in these kind of action movies?

*yawn* I better sleep now, enrollment's tomorrow and I think I'm in for a cold (or a headache).

I went out to buy a box of diskettes earlier this evening when I found out that the store I went to sold sets of postage stamps. I've been on a philatelic hiatus for nearly four years now but the stamps were too cool to resist, especially the set of tiger stamps from Cambodia! So I decided to buy it plus a set of bird stamps from Sao Tome e Principe and a set of goldfish stamps from Vietnam.

When I was about to pay for my stuff, I realized that I was short in cash. I asked the cashier if I can have one of my items cancelled. It'd be too much fuss though and the store was about to close in a few minutes.

A guy who worked there, however, gave me a coupon that entitled me to a ten percent discount and I was able to pay for all my stuff. Before I left, I thanked the guy for the coupon. It was really kind of him to do that, to think that I don't deserve the coupon as far as the store's rules are concerned.

Some people may think that it's not a big deal but hey, an act of kindness is an act of kindness no matter how it may seem. I couldn't help it but smile on my way home. I'm sure that guy will be blessed.
