Age: 16?? Sweethearts: Akane Tendo Enemies: Ranma Saotome Ryoga first arrives in the series, looking for revenge on Ranma. He knew Ranma before the curse, and was beaten by him every day at lunch for the last sandwich. Bitter, he challenged Ranma to a duel. Ryoga's terrible sense of direction, however, caused him to miss the fight. He showed up at the battleground 4 days late and has been searching for Ranma ever since. He is a very powerful martial artist, and uses his bandanas and umbrella as weapons. Ryoga has a noble heart and a great sense of justice. He refuses to take advantage of a weakness in his enemy. He does, however, blame Ranma for all the misfortune in his life. Besides owing Ranma that debt of honour (as mentioned above), Ryoga is in love with Akane, Ranma's fiancee. Besides that, while at the Jusenkyo Springs, Ranma knocked him into the Spring of Drowned Pig! Oops.. So Ryoga has a big-time grudge against Ranma. Ryoga goes to great lengths to hide his curse from Akane. In his pig form, he is her pet, P-Chan.
