Shampoo Shampoo has been cursed by the Jusenkyo Springs. She turns into a cat when splashed by cold water. Unfortunately for her, she's in love with Ranma. Ranma is absolutely terrified of cats!! She is courted by Mousse, but ignores him. This is the main reason for rivalry between Mousse and Ranma. Besides this, Shampoo is always trying to beat Ukyou and Akane (Ranma's fiancees) in order to win Ranma's heart. She is strong and usually uses a fan. She always beats Akane.

Shampoo owns a Chinese Restaurant. She is often found delivering Ramen on her bike. She wears Chinese clothes, and her typical intro to a scene is: "Nihao, Ranma" as she bounces on his head with her bike! ^_^
