It creates an accurate representation of how users mentally organize the functions and information presented in a product or website. Mental modeling fits into the design process after determining the objectives and requirements for the project. Representative users make similarity judgments between individual elements of information. By using statistical data analysis, a diagram is produced showing how these elements should be visually and hierarchically related. Thus a blueprint for the information architecture reflects the users' conceptual models. Click here for more information about the methodology and its results. control system, which requires its users to navigate among many separate
pieces of information. In the world of computer products, some examples
would be: A typical mental modeling study costs $30,000 and takes 3 - 4 weeks. For a customized proposal and quote, please contact us.
The final report or summary of findings, details findings and provides specifications for first and second level navigation. Where does it fit into the design process? Near the beginning, after requirements gathering has been completed. posted by Cristina | 10:30 AM |
