Rob Devine is the personification of arrogance, however he can afford to be, being an incredibly talented technical wrestler.  Rob feels he is too good to be in the ring with anybody, but is strongly apposed to the extreme form of wrestling.  Rob, preferring his amateur techniques, wrestles his opponents rather than beating them with weapons.

Being arrogant and extremely against hardcore wrestling, Rob generates a huge amount of heat from the audiences before which he competes.  Rob feels he can make a difference in the wrestling world, by giving each and every one of his opponents a lecture in wrestling and each and every one of the fans, a lecture in how morally wrong  hardcore wrestling is.
