Hedgehog Could Kill A 20-foot Shark by Jiggy No no kids, I'm not talking
about Sonic. I'm talking about a real hedgehog. Yes, its so true, I didn't
believe it at first. A dolphin maybe could but a hedgehog? Well, this little
monster is in fact a sea hedgehog actually. The animal's skin is studded with small, sharp quills. These thorn thingies are so tough that it would actually take a pair of pliers to snap them. Sharks, on the other hand, couldn't be bothered about whether the sea hedgehogs had sharp quills on their body or not. When they're hungry, they eat anything that comes in their way. Once the sea hedgehog has been swallowed, they inflate themselves and make themselves look like a prickly balloon. They keep getting bigger until their spear like points penetrate through the stomach of the shark, ripping a hole through the man-eater's body. The cheeky fellow then swims calmly through the little gap, leaving behind its fatally wounded enemy. Sharks mostly die after such an incident. Freaky, huh? |
