My most embarrassing moment
happened when I was staying in a bed and breakfast motel situated
outstation. As we were on a tight budget for this trip, we decided on this
cheap B&B motel, which was only RM30 per night. The slack part was that we
had to share the shower with three other rooms.We came back late that night and I felt like having a shower before going to bed. So, I gathered my shampoo and toothbrush and walked to the other end of the corridor where the bathroom was situated, to take my shower.
When I had finished, I realized that I had forgotten to bring my towel along. On the other hand, I had no intention of putting my dirty clothes back on so I made a final decision to dash across the corridor to my room holding the dirty clothing just for cover. Hoping nobody was around, I ran as fast as I could, clinging tightly on the dirty clothing which were covering the parts below my waist.
At that moment, two middle age ladies walked up the stairs. I panicked and dropped the bottle of shampoo. Without thinking twice, I bent down to pick it up and just then, the piece of dirty clothing slipped off my hand and landed on the floor. I was now totally naked. Those two ladies stared in horror as I tried to grab whatever I could and made a final dash to my room.
I told my friends about the incident and they laughed their heads off. It was so humiliating.
