What You Can Do


Write to key people in Congress, the Administration, and Forest Service officials(see list below), on behalf of the roadless areas in the wildest and most unprotected valley in the Lower 48, which still has not one acre of designated wilderness. Urge also that there be no more logging entries into the last roadless areas in the Yaak, and elsewhere in the West.

Update and send your letters as often as you can...bi-weekly or monthly if possible.

Here are the addresses of individuals who should receive copies of your letter for Yaak; and again, the message may be as short and direct as "the Yaak is a place of amazing diversity and magic" and "protect the last roadless areas in Yaak as wilderness."
