Wallace StegnerWe are looking for letter-writers to engage Congress on behalf of the wildest and most unprotected valley in the Lower 48--the Yaak Valley of northwest Montana. We have been pressuring Congress, the Administration, and the Forest Service, for many years to protect the last roadless cores of national forest in the Yaak as wilderness; to date, they have refused, but we are convinced it is because they have not yet received enough letters.
