Boat come In, Tide go Out
poem by: Danielle Steel

 | Crash into my Life | On the Riverbank | Boat come In, Tide go Out | Someday |

I sat and watched
    a boat
         come in,
the tide
    go out,
a bird
    fly by,
a man
    swim past,
a life
    go by.
The sun
    had set,
the man
    had gone,
the tide
    was out,
the day
    was done,
the life
    gone by
was mine.
