| In their third game of the season, Shaul's Sluggers suffered another defeat, although this time vast improvements were seen on the field defensively. Superb defensive plays were performed by Billy Tiep, Leigh Korn, Stephen Wise, and Jeremy Schneider. Billy Tiep had a nice knock out of the park, which counted as a ground-rule single because of the short right field fence. Josh Burrows hit a solid stand-up triple offensively. Kim Ettlinger and Annie Fantasia were solid at the catcher position. Stephen Wise, pitching in relief, recorded a strike out and performed magnificent acrobatic feats on the field A special "thank you" goes out to the fans and their BBQ grill (see pics).
