Yeshivat Ner Tamid

Our Students

Some 30% of the 340 students at Yeshivat Ner Tamid are the children of recent olim (immigrants) from North America. With patience and encouragement, the staff helps these young men successfully integrate into Israeli society. Yeshivat Ner Tamid is the only yeshiva in Israel with a baseball field on its campus - which serves these students well in their adjustment to Israel. These students are routinely well represented among the ranks of the yeshiva’s most outstanding students.

The Yeshiva has attracted students from many communities throughout the region, including Modi'in, Reut, Maccabbim, Gimzo, Shoham, Dolev, Talmon, Givat Ze’ev, Beit Shemesh, and the greater Jerusalem area. About half of our students live on the yishuv.

Our Graduates

In June of 2001, Yeshivat Bnei Akiva celebrated the graduation of its first senior class. Of those 24 graduates, 12 entered Hesder yeshivot (5 year combined program of Army and Yeshiva study), 11 entered Mechina programs (1-2 year Torah study program prior to entering the army), and 1 entered directly into the army.

In June 2002, more than 50 students will graduate.
