There's been very few updates in the past two months. In fact, so few that some might even say zero. And they may be right. We have received several emails asking why, and so have decided to give a little summary of the last two months. For starters, nothing has really happened. How's that for a summary? Seriously, though, you've noticed no delay in your payments, nor have you not been able to email us and receive a reply. We made a change or two internally in that we picked up a new swing trader whom we are testing. Having started back in July, results have been promising thus far. He should be receiving a full load of funds shortly. We also dropped a forex trader that, though he was able to produce, did not do so in a timely nor cost-efficient matter. Mainly, however, our online silence has been attributed to an increase in offline investors. More information on that issue and others can be found in the newsletter that you may or may not have subscribed to.

Apparently, there is some confusion when capital is returned to users at the end of their term. It is quite simple, really. After you receive your sixth payment, later that day (usually within minutes), you will receive your capital spent back to your originating account. The confusion, however, lies in this spend. It does not come from the same egold account we use to make monthly interest payouts. It instead comes from an account setup as a gateway to an exchange service where your capital is held. If there is still confusion on this matter, email the administrator and ask for clarification -- although I am not sure how much more clear this can get.

There appear to be glitches when opening our website in any Mozilla-based browser. Internet Explorer works somewhat well, and Opera is apparently ok. The form submissions still work, so it is just a cosmetic problem. Please bear with us until the site is back to normal once again.

We have been very busy lately, hence the lack of updates. There have been serious backend changes that will be greatly enhancing our productivity. For those not familiar with the lingo, a backend change is one transparent to you, the user. It invovles changing our program setup, it's ineternal operations, the route we take to get the morning chow, and our secret handshake. With any luck, you will not notice anything. However, you can be secure in the notion that the administration here is now able to take on larger tasks in an effort to expand our on- and offline ventures.

All payouts are already covered for this month, yielding an increase in available funds. Instead of releasing new units, we are going to reinvest the overage. There are currently over 5,000 units not yet purchased, thus it makes better business sense to instead widen and deepen our current holdings. Though we could use the additional income to give a higher one-time payout, we would rather set up a system to increase the minimum payout level. We also would like to maintain our set rules of having, at least from our side of the screen, payout percentages planned months in advance. Remember, in an investing world such as this, it is necessary to bring solidarity wherever possible, as it is not readily present. If you have any questions regarding this (or anything else) drop us an email.

Our user base is increasing steadily. We have been forcefully curbing growth to ensure we do not overextend ourselves. In the following few months, we will be releasing another 2,000 units -- probably 500 per month. This will be in addition to the units that return after being paid off in the coming months. Furthermore, we are increasing the maximum spends to $500. This will allow users with a desire for larger investments to do so without the hassle of multiple accounts, etc.

14 April 2003

Payouts went out a day early this month, and at 12%, as promised. There was little going on and no reason to wait. Also in the news, we have been added to the lists on Gold-Hosting and E-goldMarket. We shall see what turns of that. If anyone would like to see us listed somewhere else, feel free to email your suggestions. We personally respond to every email, even if it takes a day or two.

Payments were slightly delayed today re: ISP outages. The problem has been fixed, and all spends have been accounted for. Despite that little downer, there is some good news to be had. You can expect a small bonus next month on the order of a few extra percent. We turned a nice profit last month, and after all the money is allocated, there will be more left over than usual. Therefore, April will experience roughly a 12% payout instead of 10%. I hope you don't mind =).

22 Feb 2003

There are two things to report. First, another thousand units are available. If you weren't able to purchase units earlier in the month, you may do so now. Second, please read the following:

::::IMPORTANT NOTICE::::

We have received enough emails regarding the topic of recently closed games to warrant a global announcement. With the closure of several popular gold games during Februrary, the most recent being Ezy-bucks, users have been concerned as to the status of YAGG. Let this be stated clearly: YAGG will not close as a result of the closure of e-gold games for the simple fact that we do not invest in e-gold games. We don't pay ridiculous interest rates for a reason -- we are built upon solid foundations with long term goals. There is always plenty of capital backing up each and every purchase, and our portfolio is well diversified. If there is anything further, do not be afraid to use the contact page to vociferate your concerns. Someone will always respond, even if it takes a few hours.

13 Feb 2003

Things are running quite smoothly. Numerous users sent emails asking about the reduction in unit availability. There is an increase in interest to the program, and many units have been sold. This is a good thing! It means that the program is gaining support. If we run out, do not fret. That simply means that we will not accept new purchases until old purchases are paid off. We take overdrawing seriously here, and we are not the types to pay off one credit card with another. Curbing growth is important to any succesful monetary plan, and necessary to maintain the YAGG Guarantee. More units will become available within the next two weeks or so, so if you don't make your spend in time, be patient. You will have your chance.

27 Jan 2003

We experienced some slight site failure recently due to an accidental deletion of Dreamweaver and its local site files combined with clicking the "synchronize to local" option.. You do the math =). But we are back with little harm done. Thank goodness for backups, eh?

1 Jan 2003

Happy New Year! Nothing new to report, other than a bright prospective towards the near future. With the failure of numerous other gold games that relied heavily on new spends, YAGG can revel in that tried and true cushion should anything happen.

12 Dec 2002

The period of bonus payments has now ended. The range has returned to its previous value of 10%-20%. It should prove for a nice holiday bonus award.

13 Oct 2002

We seem to be server hopping. The old site hosted on exeat.com has for whatever reason disabled their ftp server. Since we already use the yahoo account for all communications, it seemed a logical alternative to use geocities for now. In time, we will be switching to a dedicated server. Until then, just update your bookmarks accordingly, and continue to enjoy the monthly payments.

20 Sep 2002

There are no more popups on the site. They did nothing other than intrude on browsing. We apologize for any inconvenience they may have caused.

10 Sep 2002

The minimum payment per month is now temporairily 20% with a ceiling of 30%. Also, payments need only be made by the tenth of the month to be pad in the current month. The reasong behind these changes is simply that things are going well, and we feel that the spoils should be passed on to the users. Enjoy the bouns throughout the rest of 2002.

5 Sep 2002

We have added a section for older news events. Please see the News Archive for older information.

3 Sep 2002

We have just been added to Gold Rater. Please send a vote our way in honour of such a wonderful program.

27 Aug 2002

As per the newsletter, the next two pay periods (September 15th and October 15th) will experience a heightened payout of 15% minimum. This is in celebration of our redesigned site and our new home. Enjoy the extra gold in your accounts!

23 Aug 2002

The forum is no longer present. We have found that Gold Games allows message deletion quite librally, and thus the reason why there are few unfavorable message posts for the hundreds of programs on their site. It is not a reliable source for gold game information, nor does it represent the mentality of this organization.

18 Aug 2002

We opened a forum on www.goldgames.org. We shall see how well it turns out. Anyone with an account there, please do not hesitate to join.

16 Aug 2002

The new site is up, as you can see. The old site is forever lost, and just as well. It wasn't very good anyway. Please update all of your links, as per the newsletter you received. Spread the word of our new arrival!
