Rumors

With all the wild rumors about the book out there, how do you know which ones to believe? Various rumors are listed here and the most likely are italicized :) If you know of any other rumors, please submit them to the guestbook and I'll put it on the site!

New rumors! Arthur Weasley might die, because he's very close to Harry.
Fawkes could be Godric Gryffindor.
Oliver Wood might replace Madam Hooch as the flying teacher.
Lupin will buy Harry a new broomstick. (Supposedly, it will be called the Brain Shocker 900. Oddly specific for a rumor.)
Ron becomes the Gryffindor keeper. (Thanks to Vennus123!)
Harry will receive a phoenix named Falcore from Dumbledore.
Hermione will end up in the hospital causing Harry and Ron to face Voldemort one-on-one.
Cedric's ghost will come back to tell Harry something important. (Unlikely considering he was killed with the avada kedavra curse)
Ron and Hermione will date for some time.
Harry is the Heir of Godric Gryffindor.
Hagrid and Madame Maxime go to the mountains to convince the giants to come to the good side.
The Order of the Phoenix is a group of powerful Aurors formed to destroy Voldemort. (seems too obvious, though)
The Order of the Phoenix could also be a group of witches and wizards who are protecting the secret to immortality or another magical item or ability.
Yet another oddly specific rumor: Harry and Ron will have to battle Voldemort at a place called Castle Skullstone. The only way to get past a charm around the castle is to fly into it on a phoenix (Falcore? Fawkes?). This one probably came from a fanfic and someone thought it was real.
Hogwarts will play Quidditch with another wizarding school. (Zanzaro.com)
Harry will visit Azkaban. According to J.K., "Harry visits a few places that have been mentioned in the books, but we've never got inside before," she reveals. "He visits places other than Diagon Alley and Hogwarts. People will be able to guess where, I'm sure."
The other possibilities are Godric's Hollow, The Ministry of Magic, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons.
Harry, Ron, and/or Hermione will attempt to inform Muggles of the danger.
Sirius will be taken to Azkaban for another reason, and Harry will defend him. (could be the reason reason why Harry would go to Azkaban)
Sirius will be cleared of his charges.
Harry will live with live Sirius when the Dursleys' residence becomes unsafe.
Hermione will be a prefect.
