We have just recorded our first demo tape, WIPE!
Well my name is Gareth.
This page is about 2 little
boys (one of which is me), who live in the west of Sydney Australia in a town of about
35 000 called Camden...and their band. Well weather we have reached band status yet,
we will never know, weather we ever will, is a mystery to me.
The Poo Wee Bum Farts, yes that is correct, do not adjust your monitor, do not hit it, or throw it out the window, that is our name. Anyway the Poo Wee Bum Farts make music, I hear you ask...How could a band called Poo Wee Bum Farts possibly make music?!?!?!? well to tell you the truth, I have no idea. Well to briefly describe it...The songs are simple, it is basically acoustic music with what ever other instruments are handy at the time, and it is meant to be funny. Well to us it is funny, and we are very sad in that respect as our own songs sometimes crack us up, epically when writing them. They may not be funny to you because we write songs about our town, about our school, and things that happen to us, usually a story is needed to make the song make sense (All of our songs have stories to them on the lyrics page).
Ok now to introduce us...Tim and
Gareth make up the Poo Wee Bum Farts, we met at school in late
1996 (year 7). And since then, have played together in various bands...Tsunami, Tortoise Head
Platoon and the Bumtown Drifters, as well as the school band in which we both play Bass. Anyway
Tim and I were just about to go into another band (which did not take off), when I came home
one day from a rehearsal and got a sound from ICQ saying 'Incoming File Transfer' and Tim had
written a song called 'Clean it up' which was about a personal experience, and that is how it
all started. We have recently brought out a CD from mp3.com, in which we have had an account
with for ages, and all songs are readily downloadable, sept for a few...Anyway that says about
everything, and I don't really think that you really wanna read any more of this boring ass shit
that I have prepared for you today my friends.
