Pindari

Pindari is the crag on the opposite side of Horne's Pt to Mt Piddington. Because the crag faces east, it appears to be wetter and mossier (and chossier!) than Mt Piddington, but there are certainly some nice faces and aretes here.

This is probably a good crag on summer's afternoons and winter mornings.

The guide for the area is the "Rockclimbs in the Upper Blue Mountains (2nd Edition)" guide book.

Recommended Sport This Sporting Life 50m 20
The obvious line of fixed hangers in the middle of a smooth, brushed wall.

Pitch 1 15m 19
A nice, but rather overprotected pitch that heads up the middle of the blank looking face. Interesting and technical moves past 6 fixed hangers lead to the small belay ledge (2 BBs - bring brackets).

Pitch 2 35m 20
A ridiculously pumpy and strenuous pitch up the atmospheric headwall. While initially the rock quality isn't great, it improves with height. 9 fixed hangers lead to the top and a tree belay.
