The trip was a giant success and can be described as such:
When Dave gets cracking, he whips up a storm
Time limits, and challenges, definitely not the norm,
The elite turned out all rearing to go
Peter Valler, and Ray, and my main man “Mo”
Starts nice and steady with some time for a yak
But I knew we would soon be put to the rack
Grunting up hills and focussing the cause
When Dave blows that whistle there’s no time to pause
Christine did push-ups and put us to shame
Some chose to hop but this was no game
Just when I thought we had come to an end
A bonus was in store just round the bend
One more sharp climb and a sprint round the edges
And the perfect end was a few beers and some wedges.
