Our Late August Project
Our most recent project has been to remodel and reorganize the office. It's one of the places in our home where we spend the most waking hours. We were really neglecting the office and things were beginning to pile up. It all started out innocently enough...."hey, we really need to get this office cleaned up." Then we decided that we really needed to rearrange the space, which we've been talking about for awhile. With all of the furniture out of the room, we decided (and it took some talking before it became "we" from "I"! Ü) that we really needed to paint the walls while we could. So, of course, the ceiling needed painting, too. We still have some arranging to do, yet, but it looks so much better now.

Above is the new ceiling fan that we installed. It's smaller than the old one and does a much better job of circulating air with freezing us out. To the left is the linoleum we put over the board we use so we can "scoot" in our chairs. |
