This song was written in 1985 and then recorded in a studio at
San Francisco City College in 1986 and "released" (ok, given away to family and friends) on the
album (ok,
home made tape/CD), "Songs of Love (And Other Deviant Behavior)". A
home recording of it appeared on "ONE WAY REHTONA RO" (One Way Or
Another). The 1986 recording involved the talents of various friends* (including Uncle Art, of the
Young Uncles) and reflects (if you listen hard enough) a strong Motown/R&B
influence.
Running From

Recorded on a 4-track deck in a residence
hotel in the Mission district of San Francisco, this song will resonate with the
throngs who have received a parking ticket in "The City". This one
also appeared on the "Songs of Love (And Other Deviant Behavior)" CD.
