ARTICLE IX:  ENDORSMENT
     This organization shall not officially endorse any candidates for public office prior to the Republican Party Primary or nominating convention.

ARTICLE X:  AMENDS TO THE CONSTITUTION
     The Xaverian High School Young Republicans Constitution may be amended through the procedure of a sanctioned debate and open session to learn the perceptions of the article being amended. 
     The general organization shall then decide through prompt polling to amend the Constitution or to decide on further action.
     Dependent on the actions decided by the general organization, the Constitution may then be amended by a 2/3 vote of the general organization at an official meeting with all officers and/or members present.
     Provided, that all members shall receive at least one (1) meeting notice from the Secretary stating the intention to amend the Constitution.
     No amendments shall take effect until the adjournment of the official meeting.

ARTICLE XI:  PROPER PROCEDURE (optional)
     Robert’s Rules of Order, Revised or a stated version shall govern all proceedings of the organization, except when inconsistent with the constitution and by-laws.
