ARTICLE VI:  ELECTIONS
     The official election of officers shall take place on a designated date in the spring.
     Vacancies in any office shall be filled by an appointment via the official faculty moderator.

ARTICLE VII:  STANDING COMMITTEES

     The Standing Committees of this organization shall be: Newsletter, Publicity, Campaign, Membership, Program and Finance.
     The Standing Committees shall be dissolved if two (2) or more members are not available to proceed with the operations of the committee.
     All Standing Committees dissolved shall be headed by the Chairman and Vice Chairman, as well as appointed members.

ARTICLE VIII:  RESPONSIBILITES OF THE STANDING COMMITTEES

     The Newsletter Committee shall be responsible for publishing a regular newsletter to serve as the vehicle of communication to the members of the Young Republicans Club and the entire school community.
     The Publicity Committee shall be responsible for publicity on all activities and projects of the organization. The Publicity Committee shall coordinate assignments and have the ability to record the event; and all recordings shall be forwarded to the Chairman.
     The Campaign Committee shall be responsible for coordinating all campaign activities and events of the organization in reference to federal and/or state elections with the Republican Party and/or additional political affiliated organizations in surrounding educational institutions.
     The Membership Committee shall be responsible for the recruitment and/or orientation of new members. The Membership Committee shall be responsible for materials supplied by the official faculty moderator and its distribution to the general organization.
     The Program Committee shall be responsible for arranging and setting up programs, speakers, events, etc. for official meetings at the discretion of the Chairman and the official faculty moderator.
     The Finance Committee shall be responsible for arranging fund-raising projects for the organization and the preparation of a budget. The Finance Committee shall assist the Treasurer in the submission of the annual and/or monthly financial standing report.
