| Star Ocean the Second Story is a Playstation game released in 1998, featuring Yuuji Ueda as Crawd C. Kenny and Aya Hisakawa as Rena Lanford. Since its release, there are also two CD dramas and a manga series by Mayumi Azuma. seiyuu cast has completely changed. But in any event, the story maintains its integrity, since both casts are composed of highly regarded seiyuu =^^= I enjoyed the game, though I never finished it, and I listened closely to the second CD drama, and the seiyuu in both did such excellent jobs. Now I wait anxiously for the video to be released July 27, but I want to hear the new seiyuu play the game phrases as well. Oh, well... It'll be fun watching the anime version =^^= |

Navigation 11~15-- After Dias helps save the children of Mars, Crawd, Rena, and Celine are forced into a cave to help a lone knight, fighting dragons: Ashton! =^^= But they distract him, giving Gyoro and Ururun the chance to attach themselves to his back (ya~n). So they agree to help him find a way to detatch the dragons, but after they find the right items, he couldn't go through with it, and they later run into Opera, who's searching for Ernest. After reaching Ringa, they meet Precis, who wants to help her bed-ridden friend Elenore, and after overhearing Bowman explain about the Metalx herb, she takes off to find the herb on her own. |

Navigation 16~20-- As the party searches for both
Precis and the Metalx, they come across a monster that puppets Rena
and Celine into attacking Crawd and Ashton. They manage to defeat the
monster, which is a transformed Mandrake (is it the Sorcery Globe's
fault?), but when they search for the Metalx, they find most of the
herbs dead... Except for one. Ashton then goes to save Precis on his
own, and with Elenore saved, it's time to analyze Celine's Ancient
Scroll. But while the rest are at Kiis-sensei's, Precis drags Crawd
into her house And after
much confusion, it's on to Rakuul, where both Ashton and Crawd enter
the tournament... But so does Dias |

Navigation 21~25-- The competition in Rakuul is on! Poor Ashton tries his hand in the comp as well! But the highlight of it all is the battle of Crawd vs. Dias =^^= And just when you think Crawd's gonna get it, Leon interrupts with bad news of monsters on Hofman Island. So three of the group (Crawd, Rena, Ashton, Celine, Precis, and Bowman) must accompany Leon to retrieve an Energy Stone. Crawd, Rena, and Bowman go, and meet with Ernest, who aids in defeating a huge crab-like monster. Meanwhile, Ashton and Precis have one last tour of the town before their departure. |
