Doujinshi's hard to come by for Star Ocean, and there're so many guide books out there... Pick and choose, I guess. Anyway, here're some of the book items I've managed to come by.

This is a good guide to have to just get through the game as
quickly as possible (yeah right). It has a few secrets, such as
returning to a VR Expel, and it has town guides, but if you want items
and monsters info, you're gonna have to get the other guides, 'cuz
this is just for travellers. It lists the quickest way to get the
other characters, which is helpful if you want to get them fast.
Unfortunately, the copy I got was badly woven and fell apart within a
few weeks (none of my books have ever fallen apart, no matter how much
I use them![]() |

If you've read the review I did for the game, it mentions I got
close to the end... Or so I thought. I pretty much got just past the
halfway point of the game according to this guide =><= Such a long
game for Game Boy! And lots of items too =^^= If not this guide, you
definitely need some sort of guide for this game (there's so much!)
Not to mention the techniques for the characters... Kya! Too much!
At least they tell you how many points you need to get certain items
in create. And they give you both item and monster data in list form.

![]() | Treasure collects images from v1~4 of the manga, GanGan Versus cards, Star Ocean Second Story Card Set, and v1~2 of the GanGan Comic CD. It's a little smaller than A4, hardcover, and includes a color pinup. Of the 88pp, 64 are full color, and the rest are monochrome drawings =^^= |
![]() | This is the 32 sheet postcard book illustrated by Mayumi Azuma =^^= It collects some of the best illustrations from the manga, anthologies, CD comic collections, and even the GanGan Versus cards. Some of these images are also in the first artbook, Treasure, and I'm guessing the other images are in the second artbook =^^= |
