...I realized I was collecting a lot of Shounen GanGan and most of the ones I have since April have color illustrations for Star Ocean, and the collection was getting a little too big... So I moved them away from the regular manga compilations, which is up to 6 volumes by September 2001 (kya! Dias!) Iine~ I bet most of you would love to see the big battle against Shin the demon, ne =^^= I loved Ashton's Dead Triangle (po~)

Shounen GanGan monthly
Navigation:30 "Hinan-Chiku nite" (Evacuate the Area) Wai Leon's parents are gone, so he travels with the group. They learn that the town of Erulia was destroyed by the monsters, and that the "Mother" of the monsters is in that region, so Crawd swears to travel there with his party to destroy the Sorcery Globe. Could it be that Crawd really is the legendary Hero of Light? They travel through the continent of El, and reach the Tower of Erulia.
Navigation:31 "Kyousei-Tensou" (Forced Departure) Such a cute picture =^^= Crawd's father is homing in on Crawd, just as the party enters a dangerous tower. Crawd notices his communicator beeping, which distracts him even as Gyoro and Ururun alert that monsters are coming. Ashton has to defend Crawd when he realizes it's time to return to his own world. After the battle, everyone wonders what's wrong with Crawd and are shocked when he disappears.
Wai, wai, Star Ocean's right on the cover =^^= This is the June 2001 issue of Shounen GanGan that includes not only a 1pg color manga and 2pg color illustration, but also a double-sided cardboard shitajiki =^^= (wa~i) That color manga takes place when Crawd is first beamed back on the Karnas, and he sees his father for the first time since he was first transported to Expel.
Nice two page spread, ne? This is the color illustration that accompanied Navigation:32 "Tooi-Futari" (Faraway Lovers), that appeared in the June 2001 issue of monthly Shounen GanGan. The party is composed of Crawd, Rena, Ashton, Celine, and Leon, but Crawd has been beamed back to his father's spaceship where he's stuck. The party is panicked about his disappearance, but Celine believes he's one of the demons. No one knows where he's from, raising doubts, but Rena believes in him, just as a demon comes from behind her. Back on the Karnas, Crawd wonders if it really is okay for him to leave the party behind. He isn't from Expel after all, but when he thinks of Rena, he realizes he must return. The crew won't let him go because the energy has reached astronomical levels.

Navigation:35 "Tai-ketsu" (Confrontation), Shounen GanGan September 2001. Since 32, the remaining party's been fighting against Shin, Celine and Leon have been injured, Rena's too shocked to do anything, Gyoro and Ururun were also injured, leaving Ashton to fight alone. He did well, but was then defeated, and when Rena tries to heal him, Shin grabs her, and just as she's about to be attacked, Dias's Kuuhazan attack slices off Shin's arm. In this, Dias fights against Shin, using most of his attacks, like Shippuzuki and Houkouha, but Shin's too strong. Don't worry, Precis and Bowman, in a giant Mujin-kun come to the rescue =^^= (kinda...) Shin tries to attack Precis, but is held back by Ernest's whip, and Opera uses her Carade Scope to blast him. (reunited! =^^= )
