This here site is a portal of past, present and (maybe) future inhabitants of The Hill School Community. It is primarily designed to foster communication of former pals, teachers or even rekindle old flames!.
What began as a quaint listing of alumni nearby, has now developed to a sizable database of contacts worldwide. As of last week we reached 114 guestbook entries, with 100 unique contacts over 96% being past Hillo students. All this alongside the several picture postings has been made possible through active and participating alumni like you.
So who does all this setup stuff for the site? That would be Allan Amira (1985) The updates come few and far between because this is a labor of love and fits in with other 101 priorities. I must stress that a lot of this is made possible by the assistance, feedback and info-sharing from many of you out there especially Dave who has gone the extra-mile many times with old school info.
There are Reunion pages for regional get-togethers, galleries to share events and memories and now an in-house Messageboard. Competition aficionadoes will see an online version of the Cockhouse party and More House nostalgia. So go ahead, schedule a meet, invite schoolmates and send back the pictures for us to see.
If you are just visiting, we hope you enjoy the site and take back with you a sense of life in boarding school in Kenya, East Africa. Plenty of info on the pastimes (perils) of the growing experience there. There is enough information to write an essay within. So welcome and enjoy.
