Let me spend a couple of words on that radio... It started 11 years ago, as a program that was edited by best young journalists in Belgrade and best young dj's who played smart selection of music. Program was entertaining, educating and informative. Nothing was missed what was happening in the city. As the shit (that is war, or turmoil, whatever you like better) on Balkans developed, B92 became more and more important, as the only oasis of free, that is anti-war, anti-Milosevic, anti-stupid thought. I can safely say that B-92 saved a lot of minds during years of Milosevic's seizure of Yugoslavia. B-92 always managed to stay alive, and it grew and became more and more important as the time went by. Of course, Milosevic tried several times to close the radio. Everytime B-92 would rise like a phoenix and defiantly stand as the only opposition. During the NATO bombing campaign, Milosevic had opened hands to do whatever he wanted in his own backyard, and his first action was to close B-92. After several moths, thanks to the support of many good people all over the world, B-92 stated broadcasing again under the name of B2-92, with the essentially the same program conception.

In May 2000, B-92 was closed again, together with many other media in Yugoslavia which opposed Milosevic. This caused many demontrations against Milosevic, and he sent police to intevene. Estimations say that more than 200 people are severly injured or imprisoned. More demonstrations and resistance is expected in incoming days, and both, media and citizes need help. You can write to your favorite media all over the world to incourage citizens of Belgrade and Srebia in their brave efforts for freedom.
