Drama/Movement
We have worked very closely for many years with teachers and students in Drama and Theatre in Education. With them, we have developed
simple, no-fail, effective ways for teachers—even the very worried, unsure, or inexperienced—to intertwine movement and music into
and throughout regular drama themes and structures. We provide exercises that can become progressively more complex. For those teachers
who need material for public presentations, many of the exercises we teach can be used not only for process work, but also for performances.
In fact, the exercises are so simple, but create such powerful results that once students (even very young ones) learn the concepts,
they can be left to improvise for performance purposes—and the work will be dynamic and inspiring every time.
