For translations of names, go to the Name Chart. Very useful, since I tend to use the Japanese names.
Here is a small table of Japanese words and their English meaning. These are words that are commonly used in mangas (comic books) and on anime sites, as well as words that appear only in Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon.

-chan | name suffix for a friend (generally used for females) |
-kun | name suffix for a friend (generally used for males) |
-san, -sama | respectful name suffix. -sama is more respectful than -san |
* - Jakokusuishou is the correct spelling, but sometimes the word is romanized with a 'z' in place of the first 's'.
