There are many incredible things in Zion that were not created by the power
of Magick, but by human inginuity. From machines that can instantly heal wounds
to 60' tall war machines. A few examples of the technology of Zion are below.
PO-AR Suit
60' tall humanoid warmachines which one pilots from the cockpit, positioned in
the stomach. Only Jyuunin, Fenrir, and the Coalition States have these weapons,
the ones from Jyuunin resembling Gundams, Fenrir's resembling Guymelefs, and the
Coalition States' rendition resembling Gears. They usually employ laser melee
weaponry, guns, and in some rare cases, beam guns/rifles/cannons. The stronger,
newer units are owned by the region militaries, while older models are usually
thrown out in the wastes of Granveld (which keeps the Landsweepers -quite- busy).
Regenerator
A large tube which can be used to fix any medical problem... just drop the person
in, wait a few hours (or days, or weeks), and they'll be healed. Note, it can
regenerate someone's arm or leg, but if they're dead... well... it'll just keep
healing the flesh, causing it to grow unhinderedly... until you have a big,
nasty ball of flesh just... sitting there. Only the Coalition States has these,
which they do not allow to the public, only to their military to keep them
physically fit 100% of the time.
Laser Weaponry
Using Enerjist crystals mined from the moon and local asteroids, highly
intensified light becomes a vicious weapon. While it can only do things such as
arrows, swords, polearms, spears, and guns, they're easily the nastiest weapons
on the planet. Jyuunin is the only region that has these weapons, which are also
the main force of their military.
Enerjist Power
Enerjist are special crystals found only in space. When they are brought into
the atmosphere, they glow fiercely and give off enough energy to level a
building if not kept under control. Humanity has found a way to use this energy
as a near-infinite source of power in everyday living, capable of supplying
energy to the most remote areas. The only region that does not use this source
of power is Prydain, using magick instead.
Anti-Magick Field
The scourge of any being other than humans on Zion. It kills fae and dragons,
robs the Deviants and magicians of their powers, and with a strange effect,
destroys the emotions of anyone in the vicinity, making them unfeeling and
eternally depressed. The Coalition States is covered by an Anti-Magick field,
and is working on a planet-sized version.
