PROJECTS

1. Inauguration of Zonta Bldg. 1995-1998

Construction of the Zonta Building at CAA Compound, Las Piñas City
Right in the heart of a depressed community,  the club built a two-storey community center. This is where economic assistance through livelihood training is given, medical mission to intervene against malnutrition and poor health and lectures as well as seminars for the empowerment of women on human rights are conducted.
In its second year of existence, the club had a permanent home at Malunggay street, Barangay CAA, Las Piñas City.  The building was built through the sponsorship of then Congressman, now Senator, the Honorable Manny Villar.

 

 
2. Christmas gift giving to various Barangays in Las Piñas and National Penitentiary

3. A Dental- Medical mission was sent to lahar hit San Fernando, Pampanga

 
 
4. Establishment of free six-bed medical ward
Establishment of free six-bed medical ward at the Perpetual Help Medical Center, a private hospital in the City where cost of hospitalization due to normal childbirth including pre-natal and post-natal care are extended to indigent mothers.  Infant care to qualified marginalized mothers in Las Piñas was also extended.  A fund for this purpose was put up exclusively for this project.

Zonta International Convention held in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. in July 1996 with delegates from the Philippines that included the Zonta Club of Las Piñas. President Nitz Villafuerte and members Karling Saniel & Elsa Yoshimoto.
  
 
4. The "Can- Can"
Show Girls of ZCLP during the 1st Area 5 meeting and workshop where ZCLP was the host club.

 
 
5. 9th District 17 Conference 
The Indonesian Dance number during the 9th District 17 Conference held at Cebu City.
